Hanging out with Resounding Books has its advantages...
...and one of them is opportunities to learn more for less.
If you frequent our blog or Facebook page, or you follow us on Twitter, you've likely become familiar with Marsha Familaro Enright, founder of the Chicago-based Reason, Individualism, Freedom Institute (RIFI). You also likely know that every year, RIFI stages something called the Great Connections Seminar for teens and 20-somethings.
From October 1st to the 4th, RIFI will be holding a Great Connections Weekend...for ADULTS! The theme for this rare event is "Understanding Power and the Power of Reason."
And Marsha has just graciously offered to extend a $50 registration discount to anyone mentioning Resounding Books or our founder, Kirsten Lombard.
Just What Is Great Connections?
Great Connections is a unique opportunity both to deepen and expand, quite literally, the ways in which you're able to think, formulate perspective, and problem-solve. Rooted in the classics, the methods and approaches that the seminar leverages move well beyond what most of us receive in either our K-12 or college education. Participants regularly refer to their Great Connections experience as "transformative."
To learn more about Great Connections, what it entails, and how it works, we encourage you to listen to our discussion of the program with Marsha. She talks primarily about the spring/summer program for teens and 20-somethings, but the autumn weekend for adults applies all of the same principles and approaches.
