January 1, 2016 - Peeking around the Corner to 2016 at Resounding Books

The close of an old year and the beginning of a new one is an opportunity for celebration. At Resounding Books, we are marking the occasion.

First, we want to thank you,

our friends, supporters, and readers, for being so staunch in their commitment to us and to the important fights we have taken on together, particularly on behalf of true education. The truest friendships are often forged and tested in the most difficult of circumstances. That is certainly true of the friends we've made fighting the Common Core, high-stakes assessments, and student data issues. Thank you for being who you are, for your commitment to what matters, and to standing with us to strive for something far better.

Second, we renew our commitment to you

and to the principles on which we founded this publishing company.

We will not cease in our efforts to build bridges across the political and ideological spectrum, to foster dialogue and partnership on common ground issues.

We will not waver in advocating for the principles necessary to a voluntary, cooperative society in which the citizen can live and think and choose according to the dictates of his or her conscience.

We will continue to work toward our multi-faceted goal of feeding much of what we do right back into the encouragement of state and local activism related to the issues on which we focus.

There's a long way to go in all of these respects. But we're not giving up. We hope you won't either....because when good people give up, corruption wins by default.

Finally...

We want to give you a glimpse

of what's coming here at Resounding Books in 2016. Look for...

  • the roll-out of new services for citizen activists
  • special offers to make it easier to educate others
  • new interviews and other informational resources
  • fun initiatives aimed at raising awareness
  • the release of our second book, a major re-edit and update of Beverly Eakman's 1998 bombshell work "Cloning of the American Mind."

We won't say too much for more now. But trust us when we tell you that we're not sitting still, and we're really excited about what we're going to be able to do this year. Keep your eyes on this blog, our Facebook page, and our Twitter account. We'll be rolling out some of the items on this list before the first month of the new year is out.

In the meantime, we wish you a stupendous holiday and extend our very best for the days and weeks that lie ahead.

Happy New Year!

Welcome 2016!
