The school year has started again...for public, private, and homeschool students alike. It seemed like a great time to interview Gail Nelson, founder and editor of Learning Tangent Homeschool Magazine. Know this up front: Despite the title, Learning Tangent isn't just for homeschoolers. In fact, it's a great resource for any parent or teacher.

Kirsten had a meaty dialogue with Gail that we'll be bringing to you in three parts over the next week or two. In this first segment of the discussion, though, she asked Gail to share a bit about what Learning Tangent is all about, how the magazine came to be, what it currently offers to readers/subscribers, and where the publication is headed.
